Day 1 - Tel Aviv

Once you arrive at Ben Gurion Airport you will be accompanied by your concierge to the hotel. You will stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 2 - Tel Aviv
-
It will be a long day so opt for breakfast before your tour starts. The first of the list of visits is Independence Hall. This is where the State of Israel was declared. Mini Israel park features models of the most important sites and buildings in Israel. It is a highlight especially amongst young travelers. You will visit the Ayalon Institute which used to be an ammunition factory for the Hagana. The next stop is Kibbutz where you will visit the restored battlefields of the War of Independence. Here you will have a short lecture to learn about the history of the heroic acts that took place on these grounds.You will stay overnight in Tel Aviv.

Day 3 - Tel Aviv

The first visit will be to the Diaspora Museum. As you drive along the streets of the city, you will stop at Rabin’s Square. This is where the assassination of Prime Minister Itzhak Rabin took place. As you continue to Old Jaffa you will take in the scenery of the 8000 year old port city. Other sights include the ruins of Artist’s Quarter, Neve Tzedek which was the first neighborhood of Tel Aviv. The last stop for the day is Sheinkin which is a very colorful and lively street. Here you will find many shops and cafes to spend your evening absorbing the local atmosphere.You will make your own way back to the hotel where you will stay overnight.

Day 4 - Tel Aviv

Today you will spend your day at your leisure in Tel Aviv. The city has plenty of attractions, including shopping, sun bathing on the beach or relaxing at one of the beach restaurants.You will stay overnight in Tel Aviv.

Day 5 - Caesarea - Haifa - Acre - Rosh Hanikra

After breakfast you will drive to Caesaea. This was once the Roman capital. Up until now they are excavating the Crusader’s City and you can clearly see the aqueduct and amphitheatre. In Haifa you will visit Mount Carmel and the Af Al Pi Chen Naval Museum. This is where the illegal immigrants in Israel were kept in the time of the British Mandate. Once you drive to the Acre, you will have an opportunity to walk along the harbor and visit some of the unique shops. Once you reach Rosh Hanikra, you will be at the north most point of Israel. Here you will descend by cable car to visit the grottos.You will drive back to Kibbutz to stay overnight in the hotel.

Day 6 - Safed - Golan Heights - Upper Galilee

Early morning, after breakfast, you will drive to Safed. The visits here include the Ha’Ari and Joseph Caro synagogues. You will take a jeep tour to the foot of Golan where you will see the Syrian territory and the town of Kuneitra in the distance. A stop at the former Syrian camp named Tel Facher as well as the Banias Springs will be next on the list of stops. In Tel Hai at the foot of the Roaring Lion monument you will have a short lecture on the battle of Josef Trumpeldor which took place in 1920.You will stay overnight at the Kibbutz.

Day 7 - Beit She’an - Beit Alpha - Gan Hashlosha

Soon after breakfast you will drive to the Scythopolis, which is the largest archeological park in Israel. This is situated in Beit She’an. Beit Alpha is en route and here you will find amazing mosaic floors from the Byzantine period. Con Hashlosha is the next stop and here you will have a chance to enjoy the spring waters at the foot of the Gilboa Mountain. This is known as the mountain where King Saul was killed in the battle of the Philistines. As you continue via the Jordan Valley towards Jerusalem, you will stop at Mount Scopus before entering the city.You will stay overnight at the hotel in Jerusalem.

Day 8 - Jerusalem (Old City)

The first visit of your guided tour will be the Tomb of King David on the top of Mount Zion. The ancient Roman road named Cardo will lead you to the four Sephardic synagogues that were restored after the 1967 war. The Kotel Tunnels and the Davidson Center are other sights before having the opportunity to explore the Arab bazaar. Last on this path are the Jaffa Gate and the Tower of David Museum. This is where you can see how the ancient city was formed during the First Temple period.You will stay overnight at the hotel in Jerusalem.

Day 9 - Jerusalem

The first stop after breakfast is the Parliament. Here you will see the Menorah with the biblical emblems. You can see the Dead Sea Scrolls at the Israel Museum. This museum also houses the new Holyland Model. It is a miniature replica of Jerusalem during the Second Temple period. You will drive to Mount Herzl which is a military cemetery and memorial to the Holocaust. The last stop will be Ammunition Hill which was a former Jordanian army post.You will stay overnight at the hotel in Jerusalem.

Day 10 - Qumeran - Massada

After breakfast you will drive through the desert of Judea towards the Dead Sea. A short stop at Qumeran will reveal the site where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. In Massada you will accent via cable car to the ancient fortress. Here where the walls remain you will see the palaces, synagogues and bathhouses. We will then drive to Jerusalem where you will stay overnight.

Day 11 - Jerusalem

Today is dedicated to relaxation. Enjoy a full day spa experiences with massages and reflexology for relief from the previous days of walking and sightseeing.You will stay overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 12 - Departure

You will be escorted to the Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv for your flight to your home destination.
